About the Party

The Cause: The Party On The Dock is hosted and sponsored by the Midland Rotary Club to raise funds to support special causes in our community.
Tickets: Tickets will go on sale mid-May. Ticket prices are $25.00 in advance, $30.00 at the door and $20.00 per ticket for bulk purchases of 20 or more tickets. Advance tickets may be purchased at:
- Tripp's Paint & Decorating Shop - 259 King Street - Midland
- HGR Lawyers Offices - 518 Yonge Street - Midland
  and Village Square Mall - Penetanguishene
Group purchases (20 or more tickets for $20.00 per ticket) are available at both locations.
Refreshments: You can purchase “Cheese Burgers in Paradise”, Corona, Coors and Molson Canadian beer, several flavours of coolers as well as water.
Admission: Because the facilities will be a licenced premises, only persons 19 years of age or over will be admitted. Anyone under the age of 25 must produce evidence of legal age. Guests will not be permitted to bring chairs, coolers, food or beverages onto the site. Guests will present their tickets at the gate and receive a wrist band which must be worn throughout the evening.
Costumes and Prizes: All guests are invited to wear the “appropriate” tropical costumes for the event. Followers of Jimmy Buffett will know the routine. Guests are invited to wear tropical shirts, wild hats and head apparel, costumes that pay tribute to the various music stylings of Jimmy Buffett, parrot paraphernalia, flip-flops, surfer gear, and tropical apparel. There will be prizes for best costumes in several categories.
Partners: The Midland Rotary Club acknowledges the wonderful cooperation that has been offered by our partners for the event including:
- Harvey’s of Midland will be providing our “cheese burgers in paradise” and will be assisting in the food tent.
- Molson’s Corona has assisted us with our beer sales including promotion, product, set-up and licensing.
- The DOCK FM for providing the half time show, swag for the contests and the Master of Ceremonies.
