Smart Serve Training:
If you
are volunteering for a job that requires you to be a
Smart Serve
Ontario - Certified Server, and need to take the training, the Rotary Club of Midland will reimburse you
for the training cost (about $40). The training can be done on-line, at home, at
your convenience (takes about 2 hours). Additional details will be
provided to volunteers needing Smart Serve training.
General Information for Volunteers:
Volunteers for the night of the event will need to be at the dock by
6:00 pm, and will get free entry to the event.
All volunteers
for the night of the event must be 19 years or older. Volunteers may not consume alcohol until they are OFF DUTY for the night and
only after they change out of their volunteer shirt.
This
year (we learned from last year) volunteers will be on SHIFTS and
have time to watch the show and have fun with friends. but then be
back on shift again (for example - one hour on beer sales, one hour off,
then back
on for one hour). Additional details will be provided to each
volunteer once they are assigned to a specific duty.
